Sprout

 

Strong Parents Reaching Out – outdoor activities for families with children and young people with additional needs. It’s Fun together for the whole family, Relax & share information, Make friends, Face challenges together. You don’t need any diagnosis, if you feel your family would benefit then come along to our sessions. Sprout sessions are fortnightly at Hope Bank Works in Honley and Crow Nest Park in Dewsbury. £5 first child, £7 for 2 children, £9 for 3 or more children. Refreshments and fun activities included.

Bud

Therapeutic gardening for vulnerable adults and their carers. These sessions help people to benefit from being active outdoors, learning to growing, being creative and socialising.  Join our new group to give carers a break whilst having fun with those they care for at Almondbury Allotments at the Sure Start Centre and learn heritage crafts alongside gardening.

Pod

Pod: Come and see our “potting shed on wheels” at community events in and around Kirklees. People of all ages can join in our fun outdoor craft and growing activities. See our facebook page or twitter feed for news on the events will be attending in 2015. Come along to monthly training in heritage crafts at Almondbury allotments, contact us for dates and prices.
