We run projects for all ages that are inclusive, engaging and outdoors!
Bud
Our Bud project offers therapeutic gardening, skills building and outdoor crafts sessions for people aged 18 and over, in an accessible, supportive environment. The sessions are designed to increase physical and mental wellbeing of participants which are open to all adults. Activities suitable for all abilities, regardless of need. Travel expenses available
We run 2 volunteer sessions per week, on Tuesday and Thursdays, at our site at Wakefield Road Allotments. Sessions run from 10am to 1pm where we conduct many tasks from including horticulture, building equipment to weeding and tree work. We serve a soup made in the allotment outdoor kitchen that brings everyone together.

Sprout (Strong Parents Reaching Out)
Sprout provides support using a whole family approach and is centred towards those with children with SEND and SEMH needs. Sprout offers early intervention, encouraging peer support; providing a safe space for the whole family to feel relaxed and supported. Activities are seasonal, and can include campfires, balance beams, hammocks, dens, crafts and nature exploration. We run weekly Saturday Sprout sessions at Wakefield Road, throughout the year and at Oakwell Hall Country Park during school holidays.

Young Shoots
For young people 13-19 years with SEND / SEMH. Programmes are normally 9 weeks with breaks in between and themes include bushcraft, cooking, wildlife conservation and environmental exploration. The programmes help to develop soft skills in confidence, communication, listening, working in teams and problem solving in a welcoming, and inclusive environment.
